"¡¡¡Sí, Sí, Sí, Nos Vamos a Madrid!!!"


Join me (and about 2 to 3 Million of our Catholic brothers and sisters) in Madrid Spain for the twenty-sixth World Youth Day in 2011.

I am so excited to announce that we will have an informational meeting this Saturday, July 11th from 10am (sharp!) to 12pm in the rectory. This meeting is for anyone who is interested in joining our pilgrimage to WYD. Particularly for minors, your parents are strongly encouraged to attend because we will be discussing our itinerary and quotes that I received from tour companies.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Because of the spiritual and physical intensity of this pilgrimage, World Youth Day is designed for youths who are at least 16 years old. So, you must have celebrated your 16th birthday by August 2011 to attend WYD without your parent. However, if you are younger than 16 in August of 2011, then you may be able to attend, but at least one of your parents must accompany you.
