URGENT! Adopt a Family


I meant to post this earlier, mea culpa.

But Lisa's post reminded me of it, so here goes:


61 families still waiting to be adopted!

Basically, if you do adopt a family:


Donor families are asked to provide:
* Wrapped gifts for each family member — please be sure each gift is marked with the name of the recipient.
* A grocery store gift card (preferred) OR non-perishable food— please put gift card in a separate envelope.



It is a really, great program. And it is a way of spreading some Christmas Joy. Maybe it is something you can do as a family, or maybe CYM can adopt a whole family. Take some initiative! Click here for more information.

Updates for the week of 12/08/08





Its a little late in the week, but here they are!

As of right now, the biggest event coming up is the Outreach Concert which is this Saturday at 1:00 PM. Try to arrive there at 10:00 AM to start helping out so we can set up. Also please try to wear black slacks, red or green shirt, and a santa hat!

After the event, there will be an overnight retreat at Auntie Gene's house and we need people to come. It is very important to the future of CYM so please, please try to make it. We should be done around 11AM-12PM on Sunday, so let your rides know when to pick you up.

Upcoming events are CYM Christmas Reunion, LA Congress, and Passion Play!



The Christmas Reunion is set for Sunday the 21st after the 5:30 Mass, but the Venue is still TBA. Please be prepared to pay about $10-$15 dollars.

La Congress registration is still active so its not too late, but you will not be allowed to vote for the session you want anymore.
