Yes, I'm still alive...I've just been pretty busy with life. Lots of stories, little time, but for now I just wanted to let everyone know that Raj and I are leaving this afternoon for the OREGON TRAIL: Alturas edition.

Raj and I are very excited to be retreating from the world and We kindly ask for you prayers; please feel free to text Raj or I any prayers you may have during our trip. But be warned, my Cingular coverage will be non existent after 9 PM.

Until my next report in, PEACE AND LOVE BROTHERS AND SISTERS...(hopefully it will be a video blog of our journey)

The Pope's in America!!... SON!

So we're just now beginning the fourth day of Pope Benedict's Apostolic Visit to the U.S. and thus to all of us Americans. I would attempt to chronicle the whirlwind of events concerning him if it weren't for the fact that there are blogs out there that have fantastic coverage that would obviously make mine look pitiful. Among these are the ones that Raj mentioned in the last post concerning the Pope's trip, the American Papist blog, and the Benedict in America blog. Though not completely devoted to the papal trip, the Curt Jester has some recent posts concerning the trip and is always an interesting blog to look at.

So stay tuned to those blogs if you want some really good coverage of His Holiness's trip. However, I will post one video that I find quite amusing. Keep in mind, this is after some of Pope Benedict's first remarks to the American public at the White House, the full text of which can be found here.
